Idiots on Planes
Traveling frequently by plane, I overhear many things. Last week some moron two seats back was loudly proving that adage about opening one's mouth and removing all doubt (about being a fool). My favorite litte gem was this statement:
What Europe learned from WWII that the U.S. failed to learn is that war doesn't solve anything; the military is a useless tool.

The loud one obviously does not possess a knowledge, or even a vague familiarity of the actions abroad of the European nations after WWII. I'm tempted to rant on but the lateness of the hour whispers restraint.
